Laying good foundations

At Preside, we understand that the foundations of a good development start long before the first brick is laid. Many factors need to be assessed to ensure that the development is fit for purpose and easy to maintain. From the outset, we work with developers to guide them on issues such as layout, plant and machinery, staffing requirements, construction of the lease and setting the budget.

Preside offers developers a tailor-made package so they can pick and choose the services they want us to handle for them. Stringent financial control is at the heart of everything Preside does, and new developments are no exception.

Striking a balance

We strive to balance the developer’s need to minimise voids with the purchasers’ who want value for money and access to services the moment they move in. To enable this to run smoothly, we ensure a phased handover is conducted with the developer and that we establish the highest levels of communication with lessees and residents. We provide regular updates and on-site meetings, even before the development is finished. We know from experience that it is best to establish a good relationship from the beginning.

Active communication is essential, and we provide clients with regular reports on income and expenditure, a debtor schedule and any outstanding maintenance issues.
