Working together with in-house surveyors
At Preside we recognise the need to have in-house surveyors to carry out works on behalf of our clients. Our RICS qualified surveyors carry out all aspects of general practice and building surveying work including specification of works, project tendering, supervision of works, insurance valuations and licences to alter.
Planned maintenance and capital expenditure
Preside believes in the importance of long-term planning and encourages its clients to prepare capital expenditure programmes to help spread the cost of works over a period of time. Our surveyor will, in consultation with the client and the property manager, prepare a schedule of planned works together with costs, so that reserve fund contributions can be calculated.
Working with specialist consultants
However, we also recognise that clients may wish to use external consultants and we are happy to work alongside them. There can also be occasions where a specialist, such as a structural engineer, is required and we have a panel of approved consultants we can recommend.
